ドリームビルダーズは10/5(土)高輪コミュニティぷらざで開催された港区子ども防災フェスで「子どもサポーター」を務める機会をいただきました✨
On Saturday, October 5, the elementary school environmental protection team, Dream Builders, served as “Child Supporters” at the Minato City Children’s Disaster Prevention Festival held at Takanawa Community Plaza.
なぜ防災?と思われた方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、防災とSDGs(持続可能な開発目標)は、どちらも、安全で持続可能な社会を作ることを目指しています。
Some may wonder, “Why disaster prevention?” but disaster prevention and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) both aim to create a safe and sustainable society.
例えば、どちらも「貧困をなくそう」「飢餓をゼロに」「すべての人に健康と福祉を」「産業と技術革新の基盤をつくろう」「住み続けられる都市とコミュニティを」「気候変動に具体的な対策を」「陸の豊かさを守ろう」などを目標として取り上げていて、どれも大事なことばかりです。
For example, both focus on goals such as “No Poverty,” “Zero Hunger,” “Good Health and Well-being,” “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” “Sustainable Cities and Communities,” “Climate Action,” and “Life on Land.” All of these are vital objectives.
防災対策が進めば、SDGsの目標達成にも繋がるという意味を理解した上で、ドリームビルダーズも防災に積極的に取り組んでいます！
Understanding that advancing disaster prevention also contributes to achieving the SDGs, Dream Builders actively engages in disaster prevention efforts!
この日は取材もしていただき、代表・副代表の3人がインタビューにお応えしました！
We were even interviewed on the day, with three of our representatives sharing their thoughts!
私たちがフェス当日に担当したコーナーや活動の様子をご紹介すると・・・
Here’s a look at the activities we were involved in during the festival:
①受付、アンケート回収とお土産コーナー、街頭でのお声がけ
高輪地区在住のたくさんの方にスムーズにご参加いただけるようにお手伝いをしました。
Reception, Survey Collection, Souvenir Corner, and Street Outreach:
We helped ensure smooth participation for the many residents of the Takanawa area.
②防災ボードゲームのコーナー
遊びながら防災についての知識をつけられるゲームを用意していただいたので、お客様に内容を説明したり、一緒に遊んだりしました!面白いゲームでどんどんいろんなことを覚えていけるので、小学生におすすめです！
Disaster Prevention Board Game Corner:
We provided a game designed to teach disaster prevention while playing. We explained the game to visitors and played along with them! This fun game helps you learn a lot, so it’s highly recommended for elementary school students!
③ペットボトルのランタン作り
ランタンとホイッスルのクラフトコーナーは大人気で、お部屋いっぱいにお客様が来てくださり、最初の1時間くらいでほとんどが品切れになってしまうほどでした！カラフルなランタンに可愛いシールを貼って自分らしい作品ができると、ご来場くださったお子さんたちがとても喜んでくれました。
Making PET Bottle Lanterns:
The lantern and whistle crafting corner was very popular, with the room filled with visitors. Most of the materials were gone within the first hour! The children who joined were delighted to create their unique lanterns with colorful designs and cute stickers.
④オリジナルホイッスル作り
カラビナとホイッスル、飾りのチャームを上手につなげるお手伝いをしました。ホイッスルの中には、名前や住所、連絡先を書いておく紙が入っていて、いざという時に見られるように一緒に記入したり、小さな子にもわかるように説明しました。
Making Original Whistles:
We assisted participants in connecting carabiners, whistles, and decorative charms. The whistles included a small paper where children could write their name, address, and contact information for emergencies. We helped fill them out and explained it in a way even young kids could understand.
⑤ドリームビルダーズ&EcoCharmsのグッズ販売
オリジナルのロゴとスローガンの入ったエコタンブラー&カトラリーセットとEcoCharmsのハンドメイドキーホルダーを販売しました。特にEcoCharmsのキーホルダーは「色がキレイ！」「これがペットボトルのふたからできているの!?」と、たくさんの方に興味を持ってお話を聞いていただきました。購入してくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。
Dream Builders & EcoCharms Merchandise Sale:
We sold eco-tumblers and cutlery sets featuring our original logo and slogan, as well as EcoCharms’ handmade keychains. Many people were intrigued by the beautiful colors of the EcoCharms keychains, exclaiming, “These are made from PET bottle caps!?” We sincerely appreciate all who made purchases.
他にもミニ消防車や消防士さんの制服体験、非常食の試食コーナー、ソラジローやうんこ先生のレクチャーなど楽しい企画がいっぱいの子ども防災フェスでした。
The festival was packed with other fun activities, including mini fire trucks, firefighter uniform experiences, emergency food tasting, and lectures by Sorajiro and Unko Sensei.
最後にはソラジローと一緒に記念撮影も！！
We even took a commemorative photo with Sorajiro at the end!!
