6/16にトルコ・シリアと日本を繋ぎ活躍されている社会起業家の菊地泰基さんをお迎えし、小学生向けの社会起業ワークショップを開催しました！
On June 16th, we hosted a social entrepreneurship workshop for elementary school students, featuring Mr.Taiki Kikuchi, a social entrepreneur who connects Turkey, Syria, and Japan through his work!
菊池さんはトルコの特産品のピスタチオを使い、現地の大学教授と共同開発して美味しいドリンクを作り販売されています。そして、この活動によって、紛争で働けなくなった難民の方々が働ける機会を作ることも同時に叶えていらっしゃいます。
Mr. Kikuchi collaborates with a local university professor in Turkey to create and sell delicious drinks using the country’s specialty, pistachios. Through this initiative, he also provides employment opportunities for refugees who have lost their jobs due to the conflict.
菊地さんが販売されているブラウンピスタチオ・ラテが生まれるまでのストーリーを紹介していただいたり この事業がどのようにして社会課題を解決しているか、これまで苦労したこと、やってきてよかったことなどをお話していただきました。
During the workshop, Mr. Kikuchi shared the story of how his Brown Pistachio Latte was created, explained how his business addresses social issues, and spoke about the challenges he has faced and the rewarding experiences he’s had so far.
それから、私たちは社会起業とはどんなことなのか?社会課題とは?なぜ社会起業が大切なのか?などについて、みんなで調べたり、話し合ったりしました。
We then explored and discussed topics such as social entrepreneurship, social issues, and why social entrepreneurship is important. We worked together to learn more and share our thoughts.
そして成功している社会企業の例をみんなで発表したり、グループで話し合って自分たちが解決したい社会課題や
小学生でもできることはどんなことなのかを考えました。
We then presented examples of successful social enterprises and, in groups, discussed the social issues we want to solve and what elementary school students can do to make a difference.
ドリームビルダーズでも、自分達がしていることによって誰の生活がどんなふうに変わるのか?など、もっと意識して、モチベーションを高く持って活動を広げていきたいです。
At Dream Builders, we also want to be more mindful of how our actions impact people’s lives and continue expanding our activities with high motivation!!
